Hello everyone, motorcycle fanatics! Today after several months, we continue with the section of... ROUTES BY MOTORBIKE THROUGH... And in this second edition, we are going to go into the wonderful places and corners of nothing more and nothing less than... Castilla y León!

Thanks to its great extension and geographical diversity, Castilla y León is the perfect place to go on a route with our motorcycle. In the routes that we are going to propose below, you will find from roads with spectacular curves to bigs and longs straight roads to enjoy your bike and the scenery. Also, you will find incredible forests, plateaus, valleys and much more. So...let's get started!

Motorcycle route from Arribes del Duero to Sanabria

With this route you will enjoy the provinces of Salamanca and Zamora. The route will start in Ciudad Diego, and you will travel through the history of the lands of Salamanca, passing by monuments and fortified villages.

Once you arrive in Fermoselle, the province of Zamora. Here we recommend you to rest to enjoy all that Fermoselle has to offer. After resting, our journey continues through Zamora, where you will find incredible landscapes and nature around you, as well as all the heritage of the city.

And finally, er'll finish this route at the lake of Sanabria. This lake is the largest natural lake in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest of Europe.

Route of the Peña de Francia, one of the best motorcycle routes in Castilla y Leon

If you love natural landscapes, you have to do this motorcycle route without a doubt. The route is about 250 km long and starts in Salamanca, where you should see all that the city has to offer: architectural and cultural heritage, the atmosphere of its streets and its people, its gastronomy,... and much more.

Once you have done this, you should continue the route to Linares de Riofrío, a place which is located 1,000 meters above sea level. When you arrive, you will have to continue and head towards Miranda del Castañar, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

The route continues to La Alberca, a beautiful and very picturesque village where you will drive on narrow cobblestone streets, until you reach Mogarraz. From acmotos, we recommend you to stop in both villages and enjoy them, as you will fall in love with them just walking through their original streets.

And after kilometers and kilometers riding your motorcycle and enjoying the incredible places and landscapes of Castilla y Leon, the route will end in Ciudad Rodrigo, a town that is on the border with Portugal, which was a very strategic point hundreds of years ago.

Get to know the culture and history of Castilla y Leon with this motorcycle route.

With this route you will know perfectly the province of Castilla y León, Valladolid. On this route you will cross and tour monuments, landscapes and traditions of Castilla y León without getting off your motorcycle. Although, as always, we recommend that you stop and rest to get to know the province of Valladolid much better.

This route will be about 235 kilometers, which will be uphill to the north of Castilla y León. The route will start in Caballero de Olmedo and you will pass through villages such as Medina del Campo, Tordesillas and Urueña, which was the seat of the Cortes de Castilla y León.

A simple route, but with which you will know and learn everything about the most characteristic and historical of Valladolid, the heart of Castilla y León.

Route from Soria to Abejar passing through the Laguna Negra Natural Park.

The route starts in the province of Soria and will end after about 145 kilometers in Abejar.

We will start from Soria and go to the town of Vinuesa, which we will pass until we reach the Laguna Negra National Park. More than 4,600 hectares of which a large part of the surface is above 1,700 meters.

After the obligatory stop at the Laguna Negra, we will continue the route passing Covaleda, Duruelo de la Sierra and Navaleno. After passing all the villages mentioned above, we finally reach the end of this route, the town of Abejar. On this route, you will have learned about the history, fauna and flora of the province of Soria.

From Gredos to the Hoces del Duratón, an incredible motorcycle route through Castilla y Leon.

The route will be about 350 kilometers long. It will start in El Barco de Ávila, and you will head towards Salamanca, where we recommend you to stop and spend a day. This way you will be able to enjoy and get to know all the historical heritage of the city of Salamanca, its people, its atmosphere and its incredible gastronomy.

The route progresses, and you will pass through spectacular landscapes and villages such as Tordesillas, Medina del Campo, Cuéllar and Sepúlveda. In these villages you can enjoy castles, churches, a fortress from the Middle Ages,... among many other things, that will show you the history of Castilla y León.

And finally, after kilometers we will arrive at the long awaited end, which we will access from Sepúlveda, the Hoces del Río Duratón. In the Natural Park of the Duratón River Sickles we will find incredible landscapes and a very particular ecosystem. We will be able to see a great canyon in which the waters are encased, high cliffs, caves, ... and much more. 5.000 hectares of virgin nature and historical places.

Route of the Castles of Castilla y Leon

And to finish with the routes through Castilla y León, we are going to finish with a route that we love, the route of the castles. On this route you can enjoy and get to know the castles and fortresses that are in the province of Segovia.

The route of about 200 kilometers, begins in Segovia capital and passes through towns and municipalities such as Chañe, Coca, Cuéllar, Santa María la Real de Nieva or Navas de la Asunción. Once we have passed through all these incredible places, we will finish the route at the same starting point, in Segovia.
