Why buy motorcycle rear-view mirrors?

The motorcycle mirrors that you will find in acmotos are mainly for motorcycle tuning. With a careful design, premium materials and several colors available, the mirrors can radically change the aesthetics of your motorcycle.

The main differences versus the stock ones are:

  • Greater customization: They are usually black (if plastic) or chrome (if they are made from metal), manufacturers use them so they are able to install the same mirrors regardless of the color of the motorcycle. However in acmotos you will find other colors available that better fit your taste and your bike.
  • Better fit: They usually rattle and little to no adjustability. The ones you'll find here are usually made with fully mechanized blocks, which can be adjusted to the rider's taste.
  • Durable materials: We have a wide range of galvanized aluminum mirrors, totally protected from oxidation, lightweight and of great quality.
  • Better design and aesthetics: We will not deny it, bikers love their bikes and as such, wlike to show them. These mirrors give it a new and modern look that will make it look like a new motorcycle.

Do they fit any bike or do I need an adapter?

All mirrors will fit most bikes, they attach to the handlebar by means of a M10 thread. However there are some models that require special adapters to be installed wich we also have available, adapters might be needed to attach the mirrors to counterweights, fairings (or even to the handlebar if they are not standard).

Types of mirrors

There are three different types of mirrors classified by where they are installed:

  • Handlebar mirrors: These are the most common. They are characterized because they are installed in a thread located on the handlebar of the motorcycle. If your bike has this type of retro, surely you have no problem installing any universal mirror.
  • Counterweight mirrors:: These are typical of coffee-racer style motorcycles. They installed on the ends of the handlebar, replacing the counterweights.
  • Fairing mirrors: They are usually found on feared motorbikes. On the fairing they have an adapter to attach the mirror. To change the mirrors on motorcycles that take them in the fairing usually require adapters.
