Privacy policy

At ACMOTOS we process your personal data to serve you and deliver what you buy, and only for the purposes explained here. This policy follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on data protection (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process, why and for how long

The fields marked as required in each form are needed for that purpose: without them we cannot, for example, deliver an order. We do not take automated decisions that significantly affect you.

3. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We only share it when it is necessary to provide our service or required by law:

Carriers and our shipping management platform (Outvio), to deliver your order: name, address, phone and email.
Payment providers: our bank's payment gateway (Redsys) for card payments, and PayPal if you pay with PayPal.
Public authorities, courts and law enforcement, when required by law.

We also work with providers who process data on our behalf, under a contract that obliges them to protect it and to use it only for what we ask: website hosting (Vultr, with servers in the European Union), email (Google), customer service (Intercom), address autocompletion and protection against automated submissions (Google), moderation and translation of reviews with the help of artificial intelligence (OpenAI), and analytics and advertising (Google and Meta), the latter only if you accept their cookies.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. In those cases, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

4. Your rights

At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting processing carried out before.

From your account, under "Privacy", you can download a copy of your data and change your cookie preferences; under "Account details", you can correct it.
For anything else, write to info@acmotos.com with the subject "Data protection", or by post to the address above. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to prove it.

We will reply within one month. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the data protection authority of your country.

5. Minors

You must be over 18 to buy from ACMOTOS. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

6. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection across the whole website, restricted access to our systems and backups. Please keep your password safe and do not share it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to legal changes or changes to our services. If the change is significant, we will let you know.
