Puig fenders

The Puig fenders in this section are rear huggers that bolt to the swingarm, each one made for a specific model and set of years. If you already know what you want, the hard part is finding the exact part number for your bike: how to read the name, why some bikes have two or three versions and which other parts from the brand go with it. If you would first like to know what a hugger adds over the stock mudguard, we explain it in the main motorcycle fenders section.

How to read the name

Puig always names them the same way: type of part, bike with its years, finish and part number, as in the 2025-2026 Honda NT1100 rear hugger in matt black, 22379J. The letter at the end of the code tells the two finishes apart, J for matt black and C for carbon look, and almost every bike gets both. The newest designs also carry "Tipo S" in the name, and "con soporte" when the part comes with its own mounting bracket. When the name says "varios modelos de Honda" or "de Yamaha" (several Honda or Yamaha models), the full list of bikes is on the product page.

One bike, several part numbers

The swingarm, wheel or tail changes between generations, and the hugger changes with them. The R 1200 GS has three different part numbers depending on whether it is a 2000-2012, a 2013-2017 or a 2018 bike, the last one shared with the R 1250 GS; the CRF1000L and CRF1100L Africa Twin take different parts, as do the 2022-2024 and the 2025-2026 NT1100. It works the other way too: one part number fits both the Forza 750 and the X-ADV, the MT-03 and the YZF-R3, the Ninja 300 and the Z300, or the CRF1100L Africa Twin and the Transalp.

Puig parts that go with it

The usual partner is a Puig tail tidy: with the tail cut short, the hugger becomes the only thing stopping spray at the back. If you would rather keep the stock bracket, the rear mudguard extensions carry it further down, and for the front wheel there are Puig front mudguard extenders. If you go for carbon look, you can repeat the finish on other parts from the brand, from belly pans to fuel cap covers, all of them under Puig.
