Puig Mirrors

Puig mirrors cover almost every style of bike: sporty stem mirrors, classic designs in anodised aluminium, machined bar-end mirrors and the Aileron, which builds the mirror into an aerodynamic winglet. They are all sold per side, so you can order the left, the right or the pair.

The Puig mirror families

Sporty: Z2, Z3, RS2 and GP.1

These are the most practical for everyday riding. The Z2 and Z3 have an aerodynamic housing and a convex glass that widens what you see behind you, and the Z3 comes in stem versions for the handlebar and screen-mounted versions, with the arm angled at 70 degrees or straight. The RS2, in black or carbon look, also attaches to the fairing at those two angles, and the GP.1 comes in black or in black and silver. The Z2, GP.1 and the threaded Top-Tech I state in their names that they take both M10 and M8 threads.

Universal stem mirrors, from classic to naked

The Xplorer, GTI, F1.1, Hypernaked, Tracker, Grand Tracker, Hi-Tech IV, Monaco, Retro, MP, MP2, MP25, Legacy and Crono are stem mirrors, mostly in black or anodised aluminium, with very different looks, from the Retro to the Hypernaked. They screw in where the original went, with an M10 thread, and come with a set of M10 x 1.25 left-hand thread adapters for bikes with a reverse thread on one side.

Bar-end mirrors in machined aluminium

The Top-Tech I bar-end version, Bond, Fold, Bladed, Look, Diablo and Diablo Pista are machined from aluminium and anodised, and each has its own trait: the Top-Tech I sits above or below the grip, the Bond above it, the Fold folds in for tight spaces, the Bladed lets you tilt the arm to fine-tune the angle and the neo-retro Look has a 115 x 51 mm glass. They take the place of a Puig bar end or the stock one, and the hole left by the original mirror is covered with the brand's mirror thread caps. On some bikes, an adapter also lets stem models such as the MP or Tracker sit at the bar end.

Aileron: mirror and winglet in one piece

The Aileron combines a Downforce side winglet and the mirror in a single anodised aluminium piece, with aerodynamics Puig brings from MotoGP and World Superbike. It is specific to each bike: YZF-R1, RS 660, S1000RR and M1000RR, Panigale V2 and V4, Fireblade, ZX-10R, ZX-6R or Ninja 400, plus the TMAX 560 and Forza 750 scooters. The winglet can take the Tab indicator from the Puig turn signals range, and if you only want the aerodynamic effect there are Puig winglets without a mirror.

How to read the name

When the name includes "x2", as in 9506Nx2, the same mirror fits both sides; when it joins two part numbers with a plus sign, as in 010NN+014NN, the left and right mirrors are different parts. The final letter gives the finish: N black, D anodised aluminium or silver, P silver and C carbon look.

Before you order

• Adapter: if your bike has its mirrors on the fairing, on the lever pivot or on its own handlebar mount, you will need one of Puig's motorcycle mirror adapters. Each one lists the models it accepts: the fairing adapter for the TMAX 530, for example, takes the Hi-Tech, GT, GTI, F1, F1.1, Hypernaked, Retro and Xplorer, so choose mirror and adapter together.
• Road use: the Aileron and nearly all bar-end mirrors are not road-approved, and for the rest the product page says so; our motorcycle mirrors section explains how to recognise an approved one.
• Style: on naked and neo-retro bikes, bar-end mirrors and classics such as the Retro or Look look the part; on sports bikes, the RS2, the screen-mounted Z3 or the Aileron; and on maxi-scooters with fairing-mounted mirrors, plan for the adapter first.

The rest of the brand's parts for the handlebar and front end are in the Puig section.
