Adapters for Lever Guards

The lever guard itself is universal, but the end of the handlebar is not: the diameter, the fixing and the weight fitted as standard differ from bike to bike. An adapter for lever guards bridges that gap: it fits in the tip of the bar, in place of the original weight, and gives a solid point to bolt the Puig lever protector onto.

How to read the names

They are all named the same way: "Adaptador Protector Maneta", the bike with its production years and the part number, and all of them are black (the final N). When the name says "varios modelos de Yamaha" or "de BMW y Suzuki", the product page lists which bikes it covers. The adapter and the guard are separate products, so they are ordered separately.

Bikes with an adapter

• Aprilia: RS 125, RS 457 and RS 660, Tuono 125 and Tuono 457, Tuono V4 1100 (2025-2026) and RSV4 (2021-2024).
• BMW: R 1200 RS and R 1250 RS, S 1000 RR, M 1000 RR and C 400 X.
• Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki: XSR900 and TMAX 560, CB750 Hornet, ZX-10R/RR and GSX-S125.
• CFMOTO, Voge and Kymco: 300, 450, 650 and 675 NK, 500 AC and 525 AC, and AK550.

Before you order

• Check the model and the years: the Tuono V4 and the RSV4 each have their own, and the same bike can change part number between generations.
• Keep the standard weight: if you ever remove the guard, you will need to refit it.
• After the first few miles, check the tightness. At the tip of the handlebar, any play is felt straight away at the lever.

If you also want to renew your levers, every motorcycle lever is in the main section, and the rest of the brand is under Puig.
