The Akrapovič catalytic converter delete pipe for the 2024-2026 Yamaha R9 is intended for closed-course track use. It delivers a sporty sound and is designed to work with the Racing Line (Titanium) system.
The performance figures come from Akrapovič measurements on its reference motorcycle and may vary by model.
- Material: stainless steel.
- Resonator: reduces static noise levels, according to Akrapovič measurements at 5,500 rpm.
- Peak power: increase of +5.6 metric hp (+4.1 kW) at 9,500 rpm.
- Peak torque: increase of +4.1 Nm at 9,500 rpm.
- Fitting time: approximately 60 minutes.
- Noise insert: no dB killer included.
Fitting requires the Racing Line (Titanium) S-Y9R21-EET system, and ECU remapping is mandatory. This part is not road approved and does not meet emissions requirements for street or highway use.
