The Akrapovič Evolution full exhaust system for the 2014-2015 Honda CRF 250 R/RX is designed for closed-course racing. Made entirely from titanium, it aims to improve engine performance while reducing weight.
Akrapovič has tested this system in racing. The performance and weight figures below come from its measurements on the motorcycle in its product data and may vary by model.
- Power: gain of +1.5 hp (+1.1 kW) at 11,050 rpm.
- Torque: gain of +1.1 Nm at 7,900 rpm.
- Weight: 3.6 kg versus 4.2 kg for the standard exhaust, a reduction of 14.3%.
- Noise: meets FIM noise limits and includes a noise-reducing insert (dB killer).
- Construction details: a more durable welded bracket and a titanium end cap.
- Silencer: its outer sleeve has a coating that improves scratch resistance and makes cleaning easier.
- Fitting: approximately 105 minutes.
This exhaust is not road approved. It is intended solely for closed-course competition, not use on public roads.
