The black Akrapovič Slip-On Line exhaust is designed for the 2015-2018 BMW R 1200/1250 R/RS. It brings Akrapovič’s distinctive sound and, in the manufacturer’s tests, improved performance over the standard exhaust.
This slip-on changes the character of the exhaust without replacing the entire system. The performance and weight figures below were measured on Akrapovič’s test bike and may vary by model.
- Materials: titanium muffler outer sleeve and carbon-fibre end cap.
- Power: +1.2 hp (+0.9 kW) at 4550 rpm in the manufacturer’s tests.
- Torque: +2 Nm at 4550 rpm in the same tests.
- Weight: 3.99 kg versus 4.55 kg for the standard exhaust, a 12.3% reduction.
- Luggage: compatible with BMW side cases.
- Noise reducer: no dB killer fitted.
- Approval: TUV Euro 4.
Akrapovič estimates fitting will take around 20 minutes. You can keep using your BMW side cases with this exhaust.
