The Akrapovič Slip-On Line silencer gives the BMW S 1000 XR (2020-2026) and M 1000 XR (2020-2024) a distinctive sound and improved performance. This exhaust features carbon-fibre components and remains compatible with BMW side cases.
- Power: maximum gain of 0.8 CV (0.6 kW) at 8,950 rpm.
- Torque: maximum gain of 1 Nm at 9,000 rpm.
- Weight: 1.28 kg versus 2.31 kg for the standard exhaust, a 44.6% reduction.
- Heat shield: included with the exhaust.
- Fitting: approximately 30 minutes.
- Noise reduction: no dB killer fitted.
The performance and weight figures come from Akrapovič’s test bike and may vary by model. The exhaust has TÜV Euro 5 approval, but the EC/ECE type-approval certificate is not valid for the M 1000 XR; it also does not fit that model for 2025-2026.
