The Akrapovič Slip-On Line silencer for the BMW C 400 GT/X 2018-2020 gives the scooter a deep, resonant sound that suits its sporty character. It is designed to improve engine performance throughout the rev range.
Installation is plug-and-play, with Akrapovič estimating a fitting time of around 30 minutes.
- Outer sleeve: made from a special titanium alloy.
- Carbon fibre parts: end cap and heat shield.
- Power gain: +1 hp (+0.7 kW) at 6150 rpm in Akrapovič’s measurements.
- Torque gain: +1 Nm at 6150 rpm in the same tests.
- Weight: 3.5 kg versus 8 kg for the standard exhaust on the tested scooter; results may vary by model.
- Included: DB killer.
- Approval: TÜV Euro 4 and EC/ECE type approval.
If you need EC type approval, note that it is valid only with the p-kat-073 catalytic converter installed.
