The Akrapovič Slip-On Line silencer changes the exhaust note and improves performance on the BMW M 1000 R or S 1000 R from 2014-2016, or S 1000 RR from 2010-2014. It offers a way to alter the exhaust without replacing the complete system.

It has no noise-reducing insert (dB killer). The performance and weight figures come from Akrapovič measurements on its test bike and may vary by model.

  • Outer sleeve: titanium.
  • End cap: carbon fibre.
  • Power: increase of +1.2 hp (+0.9 kW) at 6050 rpm.
  • Torque: increase of +1.4 Nm at 6050 rpm.
  • Weight: 1 kg versus 2.4 kg for the standard exhaust; 58.3% less.
  • Fitting: approximately 15 minutes.
  • Approval: TÜV Euro 3.

If you want the distinctive Akrapovič sound in a silencer lighter than the standard unit, check that the approval applies to your bike before fitting.
