The Akrapovič Slip-On Line titanium silencer for the 2017-2018 BMW S 1000 RR replaces the standard silencer with a deeper, sportier sound. It also improves throttle response and gives the bike a more distinctive look.
A handcrafted carbon-fibre end cap completes the design. Plug-and-play installation requires no ECU remapping.
- Power: +0.6 hp (+0.4 kW) at 13,500 rpm in Akrapovič testing.
- Torque: +0.5 Nm at 7,700 rpm in the same tests.
- Weight: 2.9 kg versus 4.3 kg for the standard exhaust, a reduction of 32.6%.
- Approval: EC/ECE type approved and TÜV Euro 4 approved.
- Fitting: approximately 45 minutes.
- Noise insert: no dB killer is fitted.
The figures were measured on a 2017 BMW S 1000 RR. Developed and tested for EU-specification bikes, this exhaust may fit or perform differently on bikes from other markets.
