The Akrapovič Slip-On Line silencer for the 2017-2024 Kawasaki Z900 has a compact shape that suits the bike’s sporty appearance. It also gives the exhaust note a richer character than the standard system.
Installation follows the supplied instructions and requires no ECU remapping.
- Construction: hand-crafted carbon-fibre parts and an end cap made from the same material.
- Power: +0.9 hp (+0.7 kW) at 6,700 rpm on the test bike.
- Torque: +1.1 Nm at 6,500 rpm on the test bike.
- Weight: 2.1 kg versus 4.2 kg for the standard exhaust on the test bike, a 50% reduction.
- Approvals: EC/ECE type approval and TÜV Euro 5 approval.
- Included: noise reducer (dB killer).
- Fitting: approximately 30 minutes.
It is an exhaust upgrade for your Z900 that does not call for remapping. The performance and weight figures come from Akrapovič’s test bike and may vary by model.
