The Akrapovič Slip-On Line exhaust for the 2017-2024 Kawasaki Z 900 features a titanium silencer designed to save weight and improve performance. It gives the bike a louder, deeper and crisper sound than the standard exhaust.
The conical silencer follows the bike’s lines and is finished with a carbon-fibre end cap. Installation is plug-and-play, with no ECU remapping required. The figures below come from Akrapovič’s measurements on its test bike and may vary by model.
- Power: increase of +3.4 hp (+2.5 kW) at 10,200 rpm.
- Torque: increase of +2.1 Nm at 8,750 rpm.
- Weight: 1.54 kg versus 4.41 kg for the standard exhaust; 65.1% less.
- Noise reducer: DB killer included.

This exhaust is not type-approved and does not meet emissions requirements for street or highway use; it is intended for track days or markets where EC/ECE approval is not required. If you have a Z900 A2, note that Akrapovič’s optional headers do not fit that model.
