This Akrapovič slip-on silencer for the Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom (2014-2019) and DL 1050 V-Strom (2020-2024) changes the character of the exhaust without replacing the whole system. It brings Akrapovič’s distinctive sound and a performance gain measured by the manufacturer.

The silencer has a titanium outer sleeve and a carbon-fibre end cap.

  • Power: +1.4 CV (+1 kW) at 7,200 rpm on the bike used for testing.
  • Torque: +1.2 Nm at 7,200 rpm on the same bike.
  • Measured weight: 4.42 kg versus 5.74 kg for the standard exhaust, a 23% reduction.
  • Noise reducer: DB killer included.
  • Suzuki accessories: compatible with the side cases and centre stand.
  • Fitting: approximately 20 minutes.

Performance and weight figures may vary with your bike. It has EC/ECE type approval, but the certificate is not valid for Euro 5+ vehicles; check this before fitting.
