The stainless steel Akrapovič header for the Honda CB 750 F Hornet 2023-2026 is designed to pair with the Slip-On Line (Carbon) silencer. It replaces the stock header to create a set-up intended for track use.
In Akrapovič’s tests, this combination delivered an extra 1.6 kW (2.2 hp) at 9,500 rpm and 3.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm compared with the standard exhaust system.
- Weight saving: 1.8 kg lighter than the stock header, a reduction of 53.5%.
- Gas flow: larger-diameter tubes reduce restriction.
- No catalytic converter: replaces the converter built into the stock header.
- Sound: a deep, racing note that brings out the twin-cylinder engine.
- Fitting: plug-and-play installation; remapping is recommended but not mandatory.
- Use and approval: not road approved and does not meet emissions requirements for road use; intended for competition on closed circuits only.
Fitting it invalidates the EC/ECE certificate for the Slip-On Line (Carbon). On Euro5+ motorcycles with two lambda sensors, the engine warning light will come on when the absence of the stock catalytic converter is detected.
