This optional Akrapovič header turns a Slip-On Line silencer into a complete exhaust system for the 2017-2019 Honda CBR 1000 RR. Paired with the silencer, it gives the exhaust a more pronounced racing note.

  • Construction: welded stainless-steel tubes.
  • Power and torque: Akrapovič recorded peak gains of +6.5 hp (+4.8 kW) at 7,700 rpm and +6.3 Nm at 7,350 rpm on its test bike; results may vary by model.
  • Weight: 3.27 kg versus 3.99 kg for the original header on the bike tested, an 18% reduction.
  • Fitting time: approximately 180 minutes.
  • ECU: remapping is required using the dedicated map developed by Akrapovič with Rapid Bike by Dimsport.
  • Noise insert: no dB killer is included.

This header is not road approved and does not meet emissions requirements for street or highway use. Fitting it to an EC/ECE type-approved Slip-On Line (Titanium) invalidates that approval.
