The Akrapovič header for the Honda XL 750 Transalp 2023-2026 is designed for bikes already fitted with a Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust. Intended for closed-course competition, it replaces the original header and gives the twin-cylinder engine a deeper racing sound.
Fitting it removes the catalytic converter in the original header. The power and torque gains below were measured with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) fitted, against the standard exhaust on Akrapovič’s in-house dyno.
- Material: high-grade stainless steel.
- Weight saving: 53.5% (1.8 kg) compared with the standard header.
- Gas flow: larger-diameter tubes reduce restriction.
- Power: increase of 1.6 kW (2.2 hp) at 9,500 rpm.
- Torque: increase of 3.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm.
- Fitting: plug-and-play installation; remapping is recommended but not mandatory.
This header is not road-approved and does not meet emissions requirements for road use; fitting it also invalidates the Slip-On Line (Titanium) EC/ECE approval. On Euro5+ bikes with two lambda sensors, the engine warning light will come on when the missing catalytic converter is detected.
