Akrapovič optional headers turn the brand’s Slip-On exhaust into a full system for the BMW M/S 1000 R (2021-2026) and M/S 1000 RR (2019-2026). They offer a way to change your bike’s exhaust sound and configuration.

Akrapovič recommends remapping for optimum performance, throttle response and durability. On Euro5+ bikes with two lambda sensors, the engine warning light will come on when the absence of the original catalytic converter is detected. The figures below come from the bike tested by Akrapovič and may vary by model.

  • Material: titanium.
  • Power: increase of +10.4 metric hp (+7.7 kW) at 8,550 rpm.
  • Torque: increase of +8.8 Nm at 8,450 rpm.
  • Weight: 2.2 kg versus 8.6 kg for the stock system; 74.4% less.
  • Silencers: also compatible with the factory-fitted Akrapovič silencer and the BMW accessory Akrapovič silencer.
  • Fitting: approximately 180 minutes.
  • Approval: not road approved; does not meet emissions requirements for use on public roads.

The 2025 M 1000 RR is excluded: these headers cannot be fitted to that version.
