The Akrapovič header for the 2024-2026 BMW R 1200 nineT turns an Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust into a full system. It offers a way to change the exhaust set-up and enjoy Akrapovič’s distinctive sound.
- Material: titanium.
- Alternative pairing: also fits the Akrapovič silencer offered as a BMW accessory.
- Test results: Akrapovič recorded +4.1 hp (+3 kW) at 7500 rpm and +2.1 Nm at 6700 rpm on the motorcycle in its product data; results may vary by model.
- Fitting: approximately 60 minutes according to the manufacturer.
- Euro 5+: on motorcycles with two lambda sensors, the engine warning light will come on if a deviation in the standard catalytic converter’s parameters is detected.
This product is not road approved and does not meet emissions requirements for street or highway use. ECU remapping is recommended on installation to help prevent the engine warning and optimise performance and throttle response.
