This optional Akrapovič header for the 2019-2020 Indian FTR 1200 upgrades the exhaust to a full system. It works with the stock silencer or with the low- and high-mounted Akrapovič exhausts supplied as standard equipment or original Indian Motorcycles accessories.
The distributor lists it for both standard and S versions. Performance figures are from Akrapovič’s measurements on its listed motorcycle and may vary by model.
- Material: titanium.
- Peak power: increase of 6 hp (4.4 kW) at 4680 rpm.
- Peak torque: increase of 9.4 Nm at 4680 rpm.
- Weight: 1.45 kg versus 5.46 kg for the stock header, a 73.4% reduction.
- Heat shield: accepts the stock shield or an optional carbon one.
- Fitting time: approximately 60 minutes.
- Noise insert: no dB killer is fitted.
This header is not homologated and does not meet emissions requirements for use on public roads or highways.
