Givi Luggage Mounting Plates & Brackets

Givi racks act as the bridge between your luggage and your bike: a rear rack for the top box and side case racks for the panniers, each one tailored to a model and its years. You will find them here, sorted by bike, together with the Monokey and Monolock mounting plates the top box clips onto. There is just one rule: rack, plate and case must all use the same system.

For the top box: SR or SRA rack and mounting plate

Every rear rack states in its name what it takes: MONOKEY®, MONOLOCK® or both. SRA racks, Monokey only, are the ones for big adventure and touring machines like the R 1300 GS and R 1250 RT, the Pan America, the Gold Wing or KTM's Super Adventure models. Check on the product page whether the rack includes the plate or needs a separate one:

• Monolock plates: MM, M5M and M6M.
• Monokey plates: M3, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A, M9B and M10, plus the universal E251.

On some bikes the rear mount is an adapter with a part number ending in FZ, such as 1146FZ or 1173FZ; its product page says which systems it accepts.

For side cases: the case decides the rack

• PLX, with the Monokey Side mount: for V35 and V37 cases.
• CAM-SIDE, part number ending in CAM: for Trekker Outback cases.
• PL and PLO ONE-FIT Monokey, the latter ending in MK: for the other Monokey side cases. Some name the cases they accept, such as PL3104 for the Burgman 650, which takes the E22 and Dolomiti 30.
• Quick-release PLR, PLXR or PLOR: the same families, with a mount designed so you can take the rack off when you are not touring and keep the bike clean-looking.

Besides hard cases, some soft Givi side bags also clip onto the Monokey and Cam-Side racks.

Common questions

Why are there two racks for the same bike?

Because the years or the system change. The 2019-2020 Honda CB 650 R uses the 1173FZ adapter and the 2021-on model the SR1208; and the V-Strom 1050 has both an SR for Monokey or Monolock and an SRA for Monokey only. Save your bike in your garage and the strip at the top of the listing will count the mounts that belong to it, with the option to show only those.

Can I reuse the Givi top box from my previous bike?

Yes: you only need the rack for the new bike in the same system as your top box and, if the rack does not include one, its mounting plate. That is the advantage of buying case and mount separately.

Where is the case itself?

This section only has mounts. Top boxes are under Givi top boxes and panniers under Givi side cases; the whole set, locks included, is under Givi luggage. And to compare with SHAD or SW-MOTECH mounts, go to motorcycle luggage racks.
