The HIGHSIDER pro Akron-RS licence plate holder for Yamaha replaces the original bracket and lets you adjust the position of the plate and indicators. Its black finish blends into the rear of the bike.
The plate is laser-cut from 2 mm steel and has a weather-resistant powder coating. The assembly measures 280 × 280 × 120 mm and weighs 2389 g; rubber membrane sleeves protect cable openings with sharp edges.
- Fitting: the model-specific bracket uses the original mounting points, with no need to drill or cut the bike.
- Plate position: continuously adjustable angle, with an additional screw to lock the setting.
- Indicators: width-adjustable brackets have side-slotted 8 mm holes, allowing fitting without disconnecting the wiring.
- Reflector: E-approved and adjustable on a slider.
- Number plate light: included, E-approved and milled from aluminium, with a height-adjustable bracket.
- Plate support: two rubber washers and an underside buffer help secure the plate and reduce vibration.
Installation dispenses with the original rear light, so you will need to plan a suitable replacement for rear lighting. If the original bracket has side reflectors, refit or replace them; optional dedicated brackets are available if you want to retain the original indicators.
