The HIGHSIDER pro Akron-RS licence plate holder is designed for the Suzuki GSX 8S from 2023 onwards. Its model-specific bracket uses the original mounting points, so fitting requires no drilling or cutting; an E-approved rear light is included to replace the original one.
The plate mount is made from 2 mm laser-cut sheet steel with a weather-resistant black powder coating. Its adjustable design lets you position the number plate and indicators to suit your bike.
- Plate angle: continuously adjustable, with an additional screw to secure the chosen position.
- Indicators: width-adjustable brackets with side-slotted M8 holes, allowing fitting without disconnecting the wiring.
- Wiring protection: rubber membranes cover sharp-edged cable passages.
- Plate support: two rubber washers help reduce vibration, while a rubber buffer supports the lower edge.
- Reflector: adjustable and E-approved.
- Lighting: adjustable number plate light and an adaptor cable for the rear light.
- Weight and dimensions: 1248 g and 274 × 280 × 103 mm.
If the original holder has side reflectors, they must be refitted in a suitable position or replaced. Keeping the original indicators requires an optional dedicated bracket.
