MIVV Dakar Exhausts

MIVV Dakar exhausts are the MIVV silencer for adventure bikes that really go off-road. The design draws on the brand's rally experience and aims for a simple, tough exhaust, in 304 stainless steel left in its natural colour or in Black Moon black, built more for gravel tracks and trails than for a racetrack look.

Which adventure bikes take a Dakar

• Mid and large twins: Ténéré 700, Tuareg 660, Transalp 750, Africa Twin 1100, BMW F 750, F 850 and F 900 GS, Husqvarna Norden 901, KTM 790 and 890 Adventure, Tiger 900 and 1200, V-Strom 1050 and Moto Morini X-Cape.
• Light adventure bikes and newer brands: Royal Enfield Himalayan 410 and 450, CFMOTO 450 MT and the Kove 450 Rally, 510 X and 800 X.

Before you fit it

Check on the product page how the rest of the rear end is affected. On the Ténéré 700, for example, the Dakar does not work with the standard number plate holder or indicators and is not compatible with side panniers, although it keeps the pillion footpegs. Road approval also depends on the part number: the Himalayan 410 version is type-approved with the MIVV catalyst ACC.041.A1. If your adventure bike spends most of its time on tarmac, compare it with the Speed Edge, with its hexagonal profile; the other ranges are under MIVV exhausts.
