MIVV HR-1 Exhausts

MIVV HR-1 exhausts are the brand's silencers for neo-retro, scrambler and custom bikes: a sober, cylindrical black body that does not compete with a bike's classic lines. There are HR-1s for the Honda Rebel 500 and 1100, the Yamaha XSR 700, the Kawasaki Z 900 RS, the Moto Guzzi V7 or the Harley-Davidson Sportster S.

Black body, choice of end cap

The body is black stainless steel with a ceramic porcelain finish called «Black Moon», and it has black rivets as well. The end cap is either matt black aluminium, the more discreet option, or carbon with a twill 3K weave, which adds a sportier touch. On some bikes there are up to three variants of the same part number, told apart by the final letters (BA, BC and BG); compare their product pages before you decide.

Bikes with an HR-1

• Neo-retro and scrambler: Kawasaki Z 900 RS, Yamaha XSR 125 and XSR 700, Husqvarna Svartpilen 125, Honda CL 500 Scrambler, Moto Guzzi V7 and CFMOTO 700 CL-X.
• Custom and cruiser: Honda CMX 500 and CMX 1100 Rebel, Kawasaki Vulcan S and Vulcan 900 Classic, and Harley-Davidson Sportster S.
• Royal Enfield: HNTR 350 and Meteor 350.

What to check before choosing

Nearly all HR-1s are for models from 2021 onwards, so confirm your bike's year in the compatibility list on the product page; the Z 900 RS (2018-2025) and the Vulcan S (2017-2023) span longer generations. The listing also records whether the HR-1 for your bike is road-approved; the baffle and the roadworthiness test, the same for any exhaust, are explained on the main motorcycle exhausts page.

If you want something sportier for the Z 900 RS, take a look at the Suono, which also covers it. For other customs, such as Harley-Davidson, Indian or the Triumph Bonneville, there is Ironhead, and the whole brand is under MIVV.
