MIVV X-CONE Exhausts

The MIVV X-Cone is a conical silencer that MIVV designed for naked and classic-style bikes, with a body in brushed stainless steel or Black Moon black and a removable dB killer. It is a long-standing line: almost all its part numbers are for bikes from the 2000s, and the Hornet 600 is the one riders search for most.

Bikes with an X-Cone

• Honda CB 600 F Hornet from 1998-2002 and 2003-2006, in steel, with the later one also in black.
• Kawasaki ER-6n and ER-6f from 2005-2011 and Versys 650 from 2006-2014.
• Suzuki GSR 600 from 2006-2010, with a twin outlet.
• BMW R nineT from 2014-2021, in black and also with a twin outlet.

The dB killer and road approval

The X-Cone's dB killer comes out, but an approved silencer stops being approved without it, so keep it even if you take it out for track days. Approval also depends on the bike: the GSR 600 and R nineT pages state it, while the ER-6 page says it is for track use. What a roadworthiness test checks is explained in our motorcycle exhausts guide. If you ride a Hornet 600, the Oval has versions for the 1998-2000 and 2003-2006 bikes, and the GP covers the 2007-2013 one; every line is under MIVV.
