Motorcycle handlebar muffs

Handlebar muffs, also known as bar muffs or hand muffs, form a cover around the grip and lever that stops cold air and rain before they reach your fingers. They are the most effective winter protection for anyone who rides a bike or scooter every day, and let you ride in light gloves without losing feel at the controls. The four in this section are made by Tucano Urbano.

Which one fits

What matters is your handlebar, not your bike: there is one version for bars without bar end weights, another for bars with them and another for bars whose switchgear sits apart from the grip, as on many maxi-scooters. Three are made of neoprene and the R367X has an EVA outer shell.

Muffs or handguards

Muffs enclose your hand completely and are much warmer; handguards only block the wind from the front, but leave your hand visible and free to move. To keep the rest of you warm, see our motorcycle gear.
