Accessories for the Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord

The Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord is an adventure bike suited to road trips as well as everyday riding. Those different journeys call for different priorities: luggage and a comfortable riding position matter when you are covering distance, while a clear view of traffic is valuable on the daily ride. The accessories here let you focus on the parts of riding your Caponord that matter most to you.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord

For this bike, it is worth thinking about the hours spent on the road as well as the shorter rides in between. These four accessory types each have a role depending on where you take it:

• Mirrors: useful when your rides take you from open roads into busy streets, where keeping track of traffic behind you makes lane changes and junctions easier to manage. They are also worth considering if you want to tailor the rearward view to your riding position.
• Brakes: deserve attention on a Caponord used for winding roads, descents and trips with luggage. They matter on a weekend away, but just as much when the same bike is part of your regular routine.
• Luggage: makes it easier to carry clothes and travel essentials without wearing a backpack for hours. It suits the ETV 1000 Caponord particularly well when a ride stretches over several days, with plenty to take between stops.
• Handlebars: affect where your arms sit and how you hold your riding position. They are worth thinking about if you spend long stretches aboard the Caponord, whether on flowing roads or at a slower pace through town.

A bike mainly used for touring with luggage asks something different of its accessories from one that also tackles the daily commute. Your usual routes are a useful place to start.
