Accessories for the Aprilia Leonardo 150

The Aprilia Leonardo 150 is a scooter suited to city travel and everyday journeys. It is the sort of bike that may spend as much time being parked outside shops as it does moving through traffic. That makes practical details worth thinking about: where to put your phone for directions, how much wind you face on the way across town, and what will make regular rides more comfortable. The accessories you fit should reflect the routes you actually take rather than a single idea of how a scooter ought to be used.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Leonardo 150

• Protectors: help look after areas exposed to the minor knocks and scuffs of urban parking and manoeuvring. They make particular sense when your day involves several stops and you have to leave the Leonardo 150 in different places.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view on unfamiliar streets. When a journey involves frequent turns and junctions, a visible route is more useful than trying to remember the next instruction before setting off.
• Screens: take some of the direct airflow off the rider. They are worth considering if your usual journey includes open roads or longer stretches between neighbourhoods, where you feel the wind for more than a few minutes.
• Covers and leg covers: address two sides of daily scooter use. A cover helps shelter the Leonardo 150 while it is parked; a leg cover can make a cold commute more comfortable when you are sitting in the same position throughout the ride.
• Handlebars: matter to how you place your hands and settle into the riding position. If you use the scooter repeatedly during the week, even a familiar short route gives you plenty of time to notice how that position feels.

This page brings together accessories for the 1998 to 2001 Aprilia Leonardo 150, including items from Puig and Tucano Urbano. Whether your rides are mostly short hops or include a longer run across town, start with the part of the journey you would most like to make easier.
