Accessories for the Aprilia RSV1000 R Mille

Winding roads and track days are natural territory for the Aprilia RSV1000 R Mille. With a sports bike like this, useful accessories address wind exposure, control at the levers and protection against damage. Your priorities will depend on whether the Mille spends most of its time on weekend road rides or regularly joins you in the paddock.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia RSV1000 R Mille

• Screens: Wind protection matters on the longer stretches between your favourite roads. On a Mille used for track days as well, screen shape is also worth considering in relation to the more tucked-in riding position, rather than judging it on appearance alone.
• Protectors and crash protection: These can help reduce damage in some falls, without making the bike immune to it. They are relevant to low-speed manoeuvres on road outings as well as the risks involved when using a sports bike on track.
• Fasteners: Removing fairing parts for maintenance or preparing the Mille for a riding session makes their fixings particularly relevant. Replacement fasteners let you address worn or damaged items and secure the exterior parts again after work on the bike.
• Fairing and styling: Exterior details play a significant role in a sports bike's appearance. These accessories suit a Mille whose looks need refreshing after regular use, whether you are replacing tired parts or changing the visual finish rather than pursuing a performance upgrade.
• Levers: Brake and clutch levers are key contact points on twisty roads and during track sessions. Comfortable operation matters from your normal riding position, especially when repeated braking and gear changes keep your hands busy throughout a ride.

For a track-focused Mille, controls and protection deserve priority over cosmetic changes. For regular road outings, give more thought to wind protection on the journey to and from the bends.
