Accessories for the Aprilia Shiver 750

The Aprilia Shiver 750 is a road-going naked bike suited to weekday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. Accessories make most sense when they support that mix: managing wind on longer stretches, protecting exposed areas and making the controls comfortable to use. Styling changes serve a different purpose, so it helps to separate appearance from everyday riding needs.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Shiver 750

• Screens: wind exposure becomes more noticeable on the Shiver once you leave town for faster, open roads. A screen helps divert some airflow away from your upper body, particularly useful when a favourite twisty route involves a motorway journey to get there.
• Protectors and crash protection: regular commuting brings parking manoeuvres, tight spaces and plenty of low-speed riding. Protection can help limit damage to the areas it covers if the Shiver is dropped, although it cannot prevent every mark or protect against every impact.
• Levers: stop-start traffic means frequent clutch use, while winding roads keep your brake hand busy. Replacement levers offer a way to tailor your contact with the Shiver’s controls, with comfortable operation taking priority when urban riding makes up much of your week.
• Footrests: secure foot support matters when you shift position through a series of bends. On a Shiver used for both commuting and leisure rides, footrests are about balancing that support with everyday comfort rather than focusing solely on a sporty riding position.
• Number plate holders: the rear of a naked bike is visually exposed, making the plate holder a noticeable part of its outline. Changing it is primarily a styling choice for the Shiver, rather than a way to make longer journeys less tiring.

For mostly urban use, protection and comfortable contact points are sensible priorities. If your rides regularly include longer stretches of open road, wind management deserves more attention than cosmetic details.
