Accessories for the Aprilia Sportcity 200 IE

The Aprilia Sportcity 200 IE is a scooter suited to everyday town riding, with road journeys also part of its remit. That mix makes the way you use yours more important than a long list of extras. Think about where you park, whether you navigate unfamiliar streets and how often you ride beyond the city. Those details help you decide whether protection, a clearer view of directions or more shelter from the wind will make the greatest difference to your usual journeys.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Sportcity 200 IE

The accessories available for this scooter address three familiar parts of daily riding: handling it in tight spaces, finding your way and spending time on more open roads.

• Protectors: frequent stops and parking manoeuvres can mean edging the Sportcity into narrow spaces. Protectors are intended to help look after the areas they cover against minor knocks and scuffs, particularly if you regularly park close to other bikes or move the scooter by hand.
• Phone mounts: a visible phone can make directions easier to follow when a town route has several turns close together. They are especially relevant if your journeys take you to unfamiliar addresses, rather than along the same route each day.
• Screens: a screen provides some shelter from oncoming air when you leave built-up streets behind. On a longer, steadier road journey, that shelter may matter more than it does on a short trip punctuated by traffic lights; it can also be welcome on cooler days.

For mainly urban use, protectors and a phone mount may address the situations you encounter most often. If road rides are a regular part of your week, a screen deserves a closer look too.
