Accessories for the Aprilia Sportcity One 50

The Aprilia Sportcity One 50 is a scooter suited to everyday travel around town, whether that means commuting, getting to college or making several short trips in a day. Those journeys put the emphasis on practical details: where you leave the scooter, how exposed you feel to the weather and whether you need directions along the way. The accessories on this page cover the 2008 to 2013 model years.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Sportcity One 50

• Protectors: frequent parking and low-speed manoeuvring make scuffs a familiar concern in town. Protectors help look after exposed areas when the Sportcity One 50 is part of your daily routine.
• Screens: a screen can make wind and chilly air less noticeable on regular journeys. It is worth considering if your route takes you beyond sheltered streets or you keep riding through the colder months.
• Phone mounts: keeping navigation in view is useful when your day involves several stops at unfamiliar addresses. A mount lets you follow the route without repeatedly taking your phone out at traffic lights.
• Security locks: a scooter used for errands may be left parked more than once before you get home. A lock that fits into your usual parking routine helps you secure it even when you are only stopping briefly.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the Aprilia is parked outdoors, while a leg cover can make colder rides more comfortable. Which matters more depends on whether weather protection is needed while the scooter is parked or while you are on it.

For this scooter, it is worth thinking about your usual parking spot and the journeys you make most often. That gives you a clearer starting point than fitting accessories simply because they are available.
