Accessories for the Aprilia SR GT 125

The Aprilia SR GT 125 is a scooter suited to getting around town as well as taking on road journeys. Those two settings place different demands on the accessories you fit: convenience matters when you are stopping frequently, while wind protection becomes more noticeable when you stay in the saddle for longer. Think about what you carry, where you park and the journeys you make most often.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia SR GT 125

• Protectors: regular parking and manoeuvring in busy streets can leave exposed areas vulnerable to everyday scuffs. Protection is a practical consideration when your scooter sees frequent urban use.
• Handlebar accessories: you use this part of the scooter constantly on journeys with repeated stops and turns. Accessories for the handlebar area let you tailor the riding position to the way you use your SR GT 125.
• Phone mounts: a mount makes navigation easier to glance at when your route takes you to different places around town, without taking your phone out at every stop. Position matters when you want to keep your attention on the road.
• Screens: if part of your commute runs on faster roads, a screen can make the airflow less intrusive. Puig offers options for riders who want to address this aspect of their journey.
• Locks: when your day involves several stops, securing the scooter becomes part of each parking routine. Artago is among the brands available for this purpose.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is for the time the scooter spends parked; a leg cover, such as one from Tucano Urbano, addresses the cold you encounter while riding through town.

If you carry work items or things for a day out, luggage is another option worth considering instead of relying on a backpack. Start with the journeys you actually make, rather than fitting accessories simply because they are available.
