Accessories for the Aprilia SR Motard 50

The Aprilia SR Motard 50 is a scooter suited to everyday trips around town. That makes practical additions particularly relevant: something to take the edge off the wind, keep directions in view or look after the bike while it is parked. Rather than setting it up for long-distance travel, think about the parts of your daily ride that you would like to make easier, whether that means busy streets or more exposed stretches.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia SR Motard 50

The most useful additions depend on where you ride and where the scooter spends the rest of the day:

• Protectors: manoeuvring into parking spaces and navigating narrow streets can put exposed areas at risk of scuffs. Protectors make sense on a scooter that is parked and moved through tight spaces regularly.
• Phone mounts: useful for keeping directions visible when a familiar commute takes you to a new address. For urban riding, they can help you follow a route without having to stop to check where to turn next.
• Screens: a screen offers some shelter from the airflow on open sections of a daily route. It is worth considering if those stretches leave you feeling exposed, particularly on windier days.
• Security locks: if you leave the SR Motard 50 in different places as the day goes on, a lock is a practical part of your parking routine. Options for this model include Artago and Urban.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the scooter is left outside, while a leg cover can make chilly journeys around town more comfortable. Tucano Urbano is among the brands available for this Aprilia.

Handlebar accessories are another option if you want to tailor the area you use most while riding. For the 2015–2023 SR Motard 50, the most useful choice will reflect your own routine: frequent stops, daily journeys and time spent parked outdoors.
