Accessories for the Aprilia SRV 850 ABS

The Aprilia SRV 850 ABS is a maxi-scooter suited to city journeys as well as time on the open road. Those two settings put different demands on the accessories you fit. In town, you may be moving the scooter into a parking space or making frequent stops; on a longer ride, your position at the controls becomes more noticeable. Protection and handlebar parts are therefore practical areas to consider for the way this scooter is used.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia SRV 850 ABS

Protectors and handlebar parts are the main types of accessory available here. Rather than treating every ride alike, it helps to think about where you spend most of your time on the SRV 850 ABS: negotiating busy streets, travelling on faster roads, or combining both in the same week.

• Protectors: worth considering when the SRV 850 ABS is used for regular trips around town, with all the parking and low-speed manoeuvres that involves. They give you a way to address areas exposed during those everyday moments. If your rides also take you beyond the city, protection remains relevant when the scooter is part of a longer day out.
• Handlebar parts: the handlebar is part of every journey, from threading through traffic to holding a steady pace on the road. Parts for this area are relevant if you want to pay attention to the controls you use throughout the ride. On a scooter that covers both short errands and longer trips, it is a sensible place to focus.

Puig and Tucano Urbano are among the accessory brands listed for this Aprilia. Think about your usual journeys before deciding what matters most: repeated urban manoeuvres and sustained road riding place the emphasis on different parts of the scooter.
