Accessories for the Aprilia Tuono 457

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is a sporty naked bike suited to everyday journeys as well as weekend rides on winding roads. Those two roles call for more than cosmetic changes. Town riding puts the focus on comfortable controls and protection during low-speed mishaps, while longer runs bring wind exposure and riding position into the picture. The most useful additions depend on how you divide your time between those settings.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Tuono 457

• Screens: leaving town on a naked bike means more wind against your upper body. A screen helps redirect some of that airflow, making it a useful addition when motorway stretches separate you from your favourite twisty roads.
• Protectors and crash protection: daily use often involves parking, tight turns and manoeuvring in limited space. These accessories are intended to help reduce damage to the areas they cover if the Tuono tips over or falls at low speed.
• Handlebars and levers: frequent stops in traffic and more involved riding on country roads both put the controls in focus. These parts offer ways to tailor hand position and lever reach, aiming for a natural relationship between your arms, wrists and controls.
• Footpegs: secure foot support matters when enjoying the Tuono's sporty riding style. Footpeg choice influences leg position and how you support yourself through bends, but comfort on the daily commute deserves just as much consideration as your weekend riding posture.
• Number plate holders: a different holder can tidy up the rear visually and complement this naked bike's sporting look. This is primarily a styling change rather than an answer to wind exposure or comfort on longer journeys.

For a mix of commuting and weekend rides, start with your contact points and crash protection. A screen becomes more relevant as open-road miles and motorway links take up a greater share of your journeys.
