Accessories for ARENA RENA S

Accessories for the Arena Rena S

What you fit to an Arena Rena S comes down to the riding you do. Short journeys with frequent parking bring different priorities from rides where you spend longer on the road. The accessories available for this bike focus on two practical questions: whether you want more protection for exposed areas, and whether wind is something you notice as you ride. Thinking about your usual journeys first makes it easier to decide which of those needs matters more, rather than adding something you are unlikely to use.

What riders usually fit to the Arena Rena S

Protectors and screens address different parts of the riding experience. Consider where you ride, how often you park and how long you stay in the saddle at a time:

• Protectors: worth considering if your Rena S spends a lot of time being parked, moved around in tight spaces or manoeuvred at low speed. Those moments can be part of an ordinary day, even when the ride itself is short. Protection for exposed areas may also matter to you on longer trips, when you would rather have those parts of the bike better shielded throughout the journey.
• Screens: useful to consider when your rides include stretches where you feel the wind for more than a few minutes. Diverting some of that airflow can make a difference to how a road journey feels, particularly when you hold the same riding position for longer. If most of your journeys are brief, ask yourself whether wind exposure is the issue you want to address before putting a screen ahead of protectors.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this bike. Start with the situations that come up most often on your own rides: that will help you choose between shielding the bike and reducing your exposure to the air.
