Accessories for the Askoll eS2 Evolution 1.4

The Askoll eS2 Evolution 1.4 is an electric scooter for getting around town. Even when your journeys are short, parking, manoeuvring and riding into the wind can be part of the daily routine. That makes protection and comfort more relevant here than equipment intended for long-distance touring. What matters is how the scooter fits into your usual journey: busy streets, stops along the way and perhaps a more exposed stretch between neighbourhoods.

What riders usually fit to the Askoll eS2 Evolution 1.4

• Protectors: a scooter used for errands or commuting is often parked in tight spaces and wheeled past other vehicles. Protectors can help look after exposed areas when the occasional scrape or parking knock happens. They are particularly worth considering if you park several times a day or regularly manoeuvre in a confined space. They will not prevent every mark, but they address a familiar part of urban scooter use.
• Screens: city riding is not always sheltered riding. On open roads, or when you head out in wind and rain, a screen can divert some of the airflow away from the front of your body. That can make a repeated commute feel less exposed without changing the scooter’s everyday character. The benefit is most noticeable if your journey includes a stretch where you spend more time facing the wind.

For a route dominated by frequent stops and parking, protectors may be the natural starting point. If the uncomfortable part of your ride is a windy section, a screen may be more useful. Both types are available for the 2019–2021 Askoll eS2 Evolution 1.4, including options from Puig and Givi.
