Accessories for the Benelli Leoncino 125

The Benelli Leoncino 125 is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekend rides on quieter roads. Town riding puts the emphasis on a relaxed riding position and a clear view behind you, while longer stretches of open road make wind protection more relevant. The most useful additions reflect how you split your time between those journeys.

What riders usually fit to the Benelli Leoncino 125

• Screens: worth considering when your commute extends beyond town or your weekend rides involve longer stretches of open road. On a naked bike such as the Leoncino, a screen can reduce wind pressure on your upper body, with its shape and height influencing coverage.
• Mirrors: a useful rearward view matters when changing lanes through town or positioning for a turn. Mirror shape and placement affect how much of the view is obscured by your arms, as well as the appearance of the Leoncino's handlebar area.
• Handlebars: the bar's shape influences your reach to the controls and the angle of your wrists. For regular commuting on the Leoncino, a natural arm position is more useful than an exaggerated riding stance, particularly during slow manoeuvres and repeated stops at junctions.
• Footpegs: worth attention if short weekday trips give way to longer back-road rides at the weekend. Their shape and contact surface influence how your boots sit, while the position of the foot support plays a part in how tightly your knees are bent.
• Protectors: everyday use brings parking and low-speed manoeuvres into the picture, not just time spent riding. Depending on the area covered, protection can help limit damage from a stationary drop, making it a practical addition for an urban Leoncino rather than a track-focused modification.
