Accessories for the Benelli Leoncino 250

The Benelli Leoncino 250 brings classic styling to the naked bike format, suiting weekday journeys through town and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two uses place different demands on your riding position and wind protection. The most useful accessories address the time you actually spend in the saddle, whether that means frequent urban manoeuvres or longer stretches on open roads.

What riders usually fit to the Benelli Leoncino 250

• Footrests: a comfortable footing matters when the same bike handles your commute and your Sunday ride. The shape and contact surface influence how your boots sit, helping you establish a steady support point as you move from stop-start traffic to flowing bends.
• Handlebars: your choice affects your reach and upper-body position. On a Leoncino used around town, a relaxed bend in the elbows is worth prioritising over an extreme riding position, particularly when making tight turns or manoeuvring into parking spaces.
• Screens: worth considering when your journeys extend beyond urban streets. A screen can divert some airflow away from your torso on this naked bike, making its height and shape relevant if your weekend routes involve sustained stretches on faster roads.
• Mirrors: these can change the Leoncino's classic look while serving a clear purpose in busy traffic. For daily junctions and lane changes, a useful view behind you matters more than choosing the smallest mirror or the most discreet shape.
• Crash bobbins and bars: frequent parking and low-speed manoeuvres make these a practical consideration for city use. They can help keep some parts of the bike away from the ground in a stationary tip-over, but cannot prevent every kind of damage.

For a mainly urban Leoncino, focus first on riding position and rearward visibility. As your routes get longer and faster, wind protection becomes a more useful addition.
