Accessories for the Benelli Leoncino 500

The Benelli Leoncino 500 brings scrambler styling to a naked road bike suited to weekday commuting and weekend outings on winding roads. Those two roles call for different priorities. Regular town riding puts the focus on comfortable controls and low-speed protection, while longer road rides make wind exposure more noticeable. Accessories can address those needs without making luggage or touring equipment the centre of your setup.

What riders usually fit to the Benelli Leoncino 500

• Screens: worth considering if your commute includes faster roads or your weekend rides involve longer stretches between the bends. On a naked bike like the Leoncino, a screen helps redirect airflow away from your torso, while its size affects how prominently the scrambler styling comes through.
• Levers: repeated clutch and brake use in stop-start traffic makes the feel of these controls particularly relevant. For an everyday Leoncino, finger reach and a comfortable hand position deserve attention, especially when much of the journey is spent working the controls rather than cruising.
• Crash bobbins and bars: intended to help limit damage to specific areas in a low-speed fall. They make practical sense for urban use, where parking, tight turns and moving the Leoncino around confined spaces are regular parts of the day.
• Footrests: secure foot support matters when your ride leaves town and heads onto twisting roads. For this side of Leoncino ownership, the support surface and the position of your legs are useful considerations alongside the comfort of the handlebar controls.
• Number plate holders: a way to change the appearance of the rear end as part of a scrambler-inspired setup. They suit a Leoncino build focused on its visual character, rather than one where adding carrying capacity is the main priority.

For mixed commuting and leisure riding, tackle the things you notice most from the saddle first: wind exposure, hand comfort and support for your feet.
