Benelli Leoncino 800 accessories

The Benelli Leoncino 800 brings retro naked-bike styling to everyday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. Those uses call for different priorities: frequent stops put the focus on comfortable controls, while longer stretches of open road make riding position and wind exposure more noticeable. A useful set-up starts with the riding you actually do, rather than changing everything at once.

What riders usually fit to the Benelli Leoncino 800

• Levers: commuting means working the clutch and brake repeatedly through junctions and queues. Different lever shapes and lengths change how your fingers meet the controls, making them worth considering when your Leoncino spends as much time in town as it does on weekend rides.
• Footpegs: secure foot support matters on winding roads, but comfort still counts on the journey home. For a Leoncino used throughout the week, think about knee position as well as support: a sportier arrangement is not necessarily the most comfortable for longer days.
• Handlebars: width and sweep influence where your hands sit and how far your torso reaches forwards. A handlebar change can help tailor the riding position to your mix of town manoeuvres and country-road miles, rather than focusing solely on the bike's appearance.
• Crash protectors and bars: these help limit damage if the bike tips over when stationary or at low speed. They are particularly relevant to daily use, when parking, turning in confined spaces and repeated stops create more opportunities for a misplaced foot.
• Screens: the Leoncino's naked layout leaves wind exposure more noticeable once you reach open roads. A screen can ease airflow against your upper body on longer journeys, with its size worth weighing against how much of the bike's retro silhouette you want to retain.
