Accessories for the Benelli TRK 702 X

Long road days, occasional unpaved routes and the weekday commute can all shape how you use a Benelli TRK 702 X. As an adventure bike with a touring focus, it lends itself to accessories that address wind exposure, riding position and carrying luggage. The useful starting point is your riding routine: a daily journey across town places different demands on the bike from a week away.

What riders usually fit to the Benelli TRK 702 X

• Screens: wind protection matters when a touring day includes long motorway stretches. A screen changes the airflow reaching you, so on a travel-focused TRK it is worth balancing coverage for open-road riding with the clear view ahead you want on unpaved sections.
• Crash bars and protection: these can help limit damage in some low-speed falls. Their role is relevant both on loose-surfaced routes and when manoeuvring with holiday luggage, where losing your balance at a stop can leave the bike resting on its side.
• Footrests and handlebars: together, these influence how you position yourself on the bike. For TRK riders who switch between sitting on the road and standing on tracks, foot support and reach to the controls need to work together rather than being considered separately.
• Levers: repeated braking and clutch use make control comfort important in town and on twisting roads. When your TRK handles both commuting and touring, the way your fingers meet the levers is worth considering, particularly if you spend several hours riding in a day.
• Luggage: carrying clothes and overnight essentials on the bike avoids putting everything in a rucksack. For multi-day trips on the TRK 702 X, packing becomes part of route preparation, especially when a pillion's belongings need to share the available luggage space.

For a bike that serves throughout the week, distinguish between the luggage you need every day and what only comes along on longer trips.
