Accessories for the Beta RR 2T

The Beta RR 2T is an enduro bike used away from tarmac, where riding position and ground conditions can change within a few metres. On a trail, you may be standing over the pegs one moment and threading through a narrow section the next. That makes protection and control more relevant than the luggage or weather protection you might prioritise on a road-going bike.

What riders usually fit to the Beta RR 2T

• Protectors: rocks, branches and slow-speed drops are familiar hazards on enduro rides. Protection is worth considering for the bike’s exposed areas, particularly if your routes regularly take you through ruts or tight, uneven ground.
• Suspension: successive bumps and changing surfaces put a premium on how the bike responds beneath you. Suspension components are especially relevant when you want the RR 2T to feel more suited to the sort of terrain you ride most often.
• Handlebars: riding an enduro bike involves plenty of time standing on the pegs, with room needed to move your upper body. The handlebars play a part in that position and in steering through tight turns and around obstacles.
• Mirrors: these become useful when a day’s riding includes road sections between trails. On the RR 2T, the practical question is how to keep a view behind you while still having room to move through narrow passages.
• Covers and blankets: a cover is relevant once the riding is over and the bike is parked or stored. It serves a different purpose from trail protection, but makes sense for an enduro bike that spends time between outings.

Think about where you ride most: rocky trails may put protection first, while frequent changes of direction and long periods standing bring the riding position into focus.
