Accessories for BMW HP2 SPORT

Accessories for the BMW HP2 Sport

The BMW HP2 Sport is a sports bike at home on winding roads and suitable for track riding. That focus shapes which accessories make sense: protection matters when riding with intent, mirrors matter on public roads, and a way to support the bike is useful between outings. Someone who mainly rides weekend routes may have different priorities from someone preparing for a track day, even though both are making choices for the same bike.

What riders usually fit to the BMW HP2 Sport

• Protectors: a sensible place to start if you enjoy the HP2 Sport on twisty roads or take it to the track. They are intended to protect the areas they cover from scuffs and minor knocks, which is particularly relevant when you regularly ride a sports bike rather than simply keep it parked.
• Mirrors: on the road, a useful view behind you makes a difference when joining traffic or preparing to overtake. With the HP2 Sport’s sporting riding position, think about the view you get while seated as you normally ride. Puig is among the accessory brands represented for this model.
• Stands and side stands: useful when the bike is parked between rides and when you want to clean it after a day out. They also make routine attention to the HP2 Sport less dependent on squeezing everything into the minutes before your next ride, especially if you alternate road outings with track days.
• Filters: belong on the maintenance side of owning a bike you ride regularly. If your HP2 Sport sees both road miles and track sessions, keeping up with routine care is worth considering alongside visible accessories. Sprint Filter is one of the brands available in this selection.

For the 2008 to 2011 HP2 Sport, the accessory choices here cover protection, rearward visibility, support when parked and upkeep. Start with the riding you do most often; it gives each addition a purpose on your bike.
