Accessories for the BMW R 1300 R Exclusive

The BMW R 1300 R Exclusive is a road-going naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekends on winding roads. Those two roles call for different priorities: wind protection for longer stretches, comfortable contact with the controls and finishing touches that suit its uncluttered appearance. Your usual riding gives you a useful starting point for deciding which accessories will make a practical difference and which are mainly about looks.

What riders usually fit to the BMW R 1300 R Exclusive

• Screens: worth considering when your rides extend beyond town onto faster, open roads. On a naked bike like this BMW, directing some airflow away from your upper body can make longer journeys less tiring.
• Levers: frequent braking and clutch use in town make the hand controls an important point of contact. Lever shape affects where your fingers rest and how you reach the controls, both in traffic and on twisty roads.
• Footrests: support your feet through bends and over longer distances. For a roadster used for both commuting and leisure rides, the contact surface and its relationship with your riding position matter more than appearance alone.
• Protectors: help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes over. They make particular sense on a daily-use R 1300 R Exclusive that regularly needs parking, wheeling around or manoeuvring at low speed.
• Number plate holders: offer a way to change the rear-end finish and emphasise the bike's roadster styling. This is primarily a visual change rather than something that adds comfort on a long ride.

Choosing parts for the 2025 and 2026 versions

The 2025 and 2026 versions of the BMW R 1300 R Exclusive need to be considered separately when choosing accessories. Changes between years mean you should not assume that the same parts fit both. Select your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
