Accessories for the BMW R 1300 R Option 719

The BMW R 1300 R Option 719 is a naked roadster suited to everyday town riding and weekends on winding roads. How you split your time between those rides helps determine what to fit. A screen becomes more relevant on longer journeys, while levers, footpegs and protection deserve attention when the bike handles both commuting and leisure miles.

What riders usually fit to the BMW R 1300 R Option 719

• Screens: help direct airflow away from your upper body on an unfaired roadster. They make particular sense when reaching your favourite roads involves a motorway stretch, or when a short afternoon ride regularly turns into a longer day out.
• Levers: offer a way to tailor the contact between your fingers and the brake and clutch controls. Their shape matters in stop-start town traffic, as well as on twisting routes where braking and gear changes keep your hands busy.
• Footpegs: provide support for your feet, whether you are moving with the bike through bends or holding a steady riding position over longer distances. They are worth considering when your riding mixes relaxed road miles with more active cornering.
• Protectors: aim to reduce damage to exposed areas of the bike. For a roadster used around town as well as in the countryside, protection is relevant to parking, low-speed manoeuvres and the occasional awkward stop.
• Tail tidies: change the appearance of the number plate mounting area. On a naked bike, where the rear end is clearly visible, they suit a styling-focused approach rather than a set-up centred on luggage or wind protection.

Choosing parts for the 2025 and 2026 versions

The bike has changed over the years, and this page distinguishes between the 2025 and 2026 versions. A part intended for one is not necessarily suitable for the other. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your version.
